I have worked closely with Amanda as a parent and I coached her children. As a school board member, she worked closely with my child when he served as an SBO President during the pandemic. At that time, she worked closely with our district’s youth leaders, carefully listening and considering their voices. She helped them grow and learn through an extremely difficult time, working diligently to help them have the best experience possible given the circumstance.
I appreciate Amanda’s careful consideration of the issues before acting. Her leadership and respect for others is what our community needs paving the way for our youth.
Amanda is extremely well educated and hardworking but above all, she is a parent. It is clear that Amanda wants to ensure that our schools provide the best educational opportunities for our youth. I whole-heartedly endorse Amanda Oaks for re-election to the Canyons School Board.
